Six things, done properly.

HASE Design Tiles is a tile, stone and surface installation specialist. The six areas below cover the work carried out — from preparing a substrate through to closing a mitred corner.

What we do not do

Plumbing, electrical work, structural work, architecture and general contracting are outside this scope. On a bathroom or kitchen project those trades run alongside the tiling, not through it.

  • 01

    Bathroom tiling

Bathrooms concentrate more visible detail into a small area than almost any other room. Tiling is set out so joints line through, cuts fall in sensible places and the finished surface reads as one composition rather than a collection of tiles.

    Included

    • Wall and floor tiling set out to align through the room
    • Shower areas, recessed niches and step details
    • Cut placement planned around fixtures and openings
    • Controlled joint widths and clean silicone lines
  • 02

    Kitchen tile & stone

Kitchen surfaces are worked on daily and looked at constantly. Worktops, islands and splashbacks are installed so veining runs where it should, transitions stay flush and every exposed edge is finished deliberately.

    Included

    • Worktop, island and splashback installation
    • Continuous surface composition across elements
    • Flush, controlled transitions between materials
    • Finished exposed edges and returns
  • 03

    Large-format tile

Large formats are unforgiving. Small deviations in the substrate become visible lippage across a floor, so preparation, levelling and rail-guided setting out carry most of the work. Handling and cutting are planned before the first panel is placed.

    Included

    • Substrate levelling and flatness correction
    • Rail and line setting-out for continuous joints
    • Controlled handling of oversized panels
    • Lippage control across the finished field
  • 04

    Marble & stone slabs

Natural stone is not a repeating product — each slab has its own direction and character. Layout is planned around the material so veining continues across surfaces and joins fall where they read as intentional.

    Included

    • Slab layout planned around veining direction
    • Continuous veining across adjoining surfaces
    • Considered joint placement
    • Careful handling of natural material
  • 05

    Precision mitres

A mitred corner removes the visible tile edge and lets two surfaces meet as a single line. It is the detail that most clearly separates careful work from quick work, and it is where a lot of the attention on every HASE project goes.

    Included

    • 45° mitred external corners
    • Finished edges without visible trim where appropriate
    • Even, tight corner joints
    • Consistent detailing across a whole project
  • 06

    Surface preparation

Nothing installed on an unstable or uneven base stays right for long. Substrates are assessed, corrected and prepared first, because the quality of the preparation sets the ceiling for the quality of the finish.

    Included

    • Substrate assessment before work begins
    • Levelling and flatness correction
    • Preparation appropriate to material and location
    • A stable base for a lasting finish

How it runs

From first look to final edge.

  1. 01

    Look at the space

Surfaces, substrate and existing conditions are assessed in person, together with what you want the finished room to do.

  2. 02

    Agree the scope

Materials, layout, detailing and extent are agreed before anything starts, so nothing is left to assumption.

  3. 03

    Prepare the base

Substrates are corrected and prepared. Invisible in the finished room, decisive for how good it can be.

  4. 04

    Set out and install

Layout is set from established lines so joints run through and the surface reads as one composition.

  5. 05

    Finish the details

Edges, mitres, transitions and joints are completed last, with close attention to the visible result.

Questions

Before you ask.

The practical questions that come up before a project starts.

Which areas do you cover?

Paphos and Limassol are the primary working areas, with selected projects elsewhere across Southern Cyprus. If you are unsure whether your location works, ask — it depends on the size and duration of the project.

Do you supply the material, or do I?

Both are possible. Many clients choose and buy their own material, others prefer guidance on what suits the space and how much to order. Either way, quantities and setting-out are checked before work starts.

What does a project cost?

It depends on area, material, substrate condition and how much detailing is involved — mitred edges and large panels take more time than a straightforward floor. Pricing is always agreed individually before work begins, never estimated blind from a website.

How long does it take?

That is set by the size of the space and the state of the substrate. Preparation is the part people underestimate: correcting an uneven base takes time, but it decides how good the finished surface can be. A realistic schedule is agreed up front.

Do you handle plumbing or electrical work?

No. HASE Design Tiles is a tile, stone and surface installation specialist. Plumbing, electrical, structural and general contracting work sit outside this scope and run alongside the tiling rather than through it.

Can you work with large-format panels?

Yes. Large formats need a properly levelled substrate, rail-guided setting out and careful handling, since small deviations in the base show up as visible lippage. That preparation is part of the work, not an extra.
